committee; our submission was referenced throughout the committee’s
report, which was released in June. The full CCEL brief can be found at

A NEW YEAR AND A NEW ONLINE PRESENCE
We have a new look and a new online presence! The pandemic has made
clear the importance of online connections. Our front door is no longer our
office (though everyone is always welcome), but rather our website. Our
new identity and branding capture our work—our foundational research;
our collaboration with communities, stakeholders and experts; and our ability
to reflect these individual perspectives for better laws, plain and simple.
We have updated our website to better present our current projects and
help you find information about our completed projects. Information has
been streamlined to better share our past and present law reform work and
to allow users to follow along with project developments in real time. We
hope that this new website will enable increased engagement in our work.
We invite you to check it out at <bcli.org>.
