Jennifer Bednard practises civil litigation with a focus on estates and real
property at Lakes, Whyte LLP in North Vancouver. In her spare time, she is
a dancer and volunteer with the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians.
Michael Blanchflower, S.C., started his legal career in Canada before continuing
with the practice of law in Hong Kong. Some of his many accomplishments
are outlined in “B.C. Lawyer Is First Canadian to Take Silk in
Hong Kong” (2002) 60 Advocate 249.
Ludmila B. Herbst, Q.C., is the assistant editor of the Advocate and a partner
at Farris LLP.
Jim Reynolds is a former general counsel for the Musqueam Indian Band
and has authored various First Nations–related works, including Aboriginal
Peoples and the Law and From Wardship to Rights. He is currently working on
a book on Canadian colonialism and its impact on Aboriginal law.
Bruce Woolley, Q.C., practises real estate law and taught that topic to many
of us at what is now (but was not then) the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
He is a former bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia.
