ing sequel, Disenchanted. It will again star Adams and Dempsey and may
begin filming this spring. We can think of even a few more sequels: Undisenchanted,
Reundisenchanted Again and More Reundisenchanted Reloaded Too.
A pole of inaccessibility often refers to the most distant point from the
coastline. In Canada, that pole is apparently at the confluence of the Jackfish
and Peace Rivers in Alberta at 59.03°N 112.82°W. The nearest town is
Garden Creek, an unincorporated community on the Peace River 190 km
east of High Level. The pole of inaccessibility for Antarctica has as a marker
a plastic bust of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. It was placed there in 1958, facing
Moscow. Moscow or bust.
Mr. Wilkins, the solicitor husband of one of Enchanted April’s heroines, was
described by the author as a “clean-shaven, fine-looking man, who gave a
party, merely by coming to it, a great air. Wilkins was very respectable. He
was known to be highly thought of by his senior partners. His sister’s circle
admired him. He pronounced adequately intelligent judgments on art and
artists. He was pithy; he was prudent; he never said a word too much, nor,
on the other hand, did he ever say a word too little. He produced the impression
of keeping copies of everything he said; and he was so obviously reliable
that it often happened that people who met him at these parties
became discontented with their own solicitors, and after a period of restlessness
extricated themselves and went to Wilkins.”
March 25, 2021 is the final end date for the suspension of limitation periods
because of COVID-19. March 25, 2021 is the one-year anniversary from the
date the first ministerial order suspending limitation periods (Ministerial
Order M086) was made on March 26, 2020. Happy birthday.
In the Western liturgical tradition, March 25 is also Lady Day, which, until
the Gregorian calendar was adopted in 1752, was celebrated as new year’s
day.
