VOL. 80 PART 4 JULY 2022
inward and outward. Among many initiatives within the institution, the faculty
is taking a hard look at the curriculum to ensure it is effectively preparing
students to be competent, ethical and critical lawyers. Looking outward,
the faculty are national and international leaders in their areas of research,
and the school is examining how to increase the visibility and impact of this
work.
Ngai has two school-age sons who are enjoying all that Vancouver has to
offer in terms of outdoor activities. Ngai has a strong commitment to ensuring
that the law school produces students who are passionate about practising
law, thoughtful about the communities they impact and sensitive to the
development of law and policy over time. On behalf of the profession, we
look forward to his successful stewardship of the Peter A. Allard School of
Law.
