Wherever your journey through life takes you, a little guidance and support
is always helpful. When your journey takes you into the realm of
law, our Legal Sherpa® team can be counted on to give you the support
in those times when you need it most. Much like the Sherpas of the
mountainous regions of Nepal, it is the goal of our team of Legal Sherpas
® to guide you through the complex and sometimes perilous peaks
and valleys of the law. Sherpas are internationally renowned for their
expertise in mountaineering, and they have provided invaluable support
to climbers in Himalayan ascents. Entire teams of climbers have placed
their trust, safety, and their very lives in the hands of Sherpa guides;
meet with our team of Legal Sherpas® and we’re certain you will find us
every bit as trustworthy as our namesake.
Oddly enough, the terms “sherpa” and “sous sherpa” are established diplomatic
jargon. For example, the G8 Summit Privileges and Immunities
Order, made under the federal Foreign Missions and International Organizations
Act, defined “preparatory meetings” as including “the meetings of the
personal representatives of the Heads of State and Government of the G8
member countries, known as sherpas” and “the meetings of the personal
representatives of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the G8 member countries,
known as sous-sherpas”.
Western Australia’s Everest Legal says on its website that it is “helping
clients reach their peak”.
Christine H. Arnold was appointed as a member of the council of the
College of Veterinarians of British Columbia for a term ending April 21,

While Mount Everest is acknowledged as being the mountain with the highest
altitude above mean sea level at 8,848 metres (29,029 feet), the tallest
mountain, from base to peak, is Mauna Kea, a volcano on the Big Island of
Hawaii, which measures 10,210 metres (33,500 feet).
