T he “Man in the Maze” (I’itoi) is the creator god of the Tohono
O’odham (“desert people”). When his help is needed, I’itoi
occasionally emerges from his home in a winding cave at
Baboquivari Mountain in Arizona. Craft and petroglyph
designs depict I’itoi as a male figure at the entrance to the maze through
which people’s lives take them. For whatever modest help we can provide
in navigating through that maze—or at least in finding your colleagues
therein—read on!
Yaro Gavrylko moves to Fleetwood Family Law from a subcontractor private
practice. Anne Demeulemeester, former family law associate at
Aaron Gordon Daykin Nordlinger, joins Silver Selinger as associate counsel.
Katherine Pintye closes up Katherine Pintye Law Corporation to join
Spraggs Law. Once with Boughton Law Corporation, Lori Massini has now
joined Edwards, Kenny & Bray as associate counsel. Mandell Pinder sees
the arrival of Tarlan Razzaghi from Boughton Law Corporation, Robin
Dean from JFK Law Corporation and Jada Tellier from Kornfeld LLP. Mikis
Manolis moves to Hammerco Lawyers from DuMoulin Boskovich. Patrick
D. Thomson goes in-house with Parkland Fuel, leaving Lawson Lundell to
do so. Laura Besada moves to Clark Wilson from Hayward Sheppard.
Manjot Cheema leaves HHBG Lawyers to go in-house at the Health
Employers Association of British Columbia. Sarah Bell-Etkin joins
Edwards, Kenny & Bray, where she will practise entertainment law, after
having done so with Chandler Fogden Aldous. Lee Satveit has returned to
