James Hoggan is a public relations consultant and author of three books:
I’m Right and You’re an Idiot: The Toxic State of Public Discourse and How to
Clean It Up, Do the Right Thing: PR Tips for a Skeptical Public and Climate
Cover-Up: The Crusade to Deny Global Warming. He received his J.D. from
the University of Victoria and was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond
Jubilee Medal in 2012.
Francis Lamer is a partner at Shapray Cramer Fitterman Lamer and a former
Supreme Court of Canada law clerk. He is called to the bars of Quebec
and British Columbia. His wide-ranging practice includes difficult and complex
commercial litigation and family law disputes.
Roy Millen is a litigation partner in the Vancouver office of Blakes LLP. Roy
has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Aboriginal law, administrative
law, corporate and commercial litigation and municipal law. Roy is well
qualified to write the review of The Glorious Mountains of Vancouver’s North
Shore: A Peakbagger’s Guide despite his own peakbagging career having had
a number of ups and downs.
Nazeer Mitha, Q.C., is a partner at Harris & Co., where he practises
employment law. A past recipient of the Peter S. Hyndman Mentorship
Award, Naz is also an adjunct professor teaching employment law at the
Allard School of Law. When not involved in that racket, Naz plays sports
involving rackets.
Timothy Outerbridge is the second-ever registrar of the British Columbia
Court of Appeal. Tim enjoys sailing, snowshoeing and skiing (and in a blow
to fans of alliteration, riding his bicycle). He holds two degrees in English
literature and obtained his J.D. from the University of Alberta. Tim is also
a graduate of Quilchena Elementary School in Kerrisdale, Vancouver.
