VOL. 78 PART 5 SEPTEMBER 2020
with circumstances unlikely to change in the near future. As such, rather
than including court notices and directions in the regular issues of the magazine,
we have been disseminating all notices, when issued, through our
Facebook and Twitter postings. Links will now also be available, through
these postings, on our new website.
CALLING ALL SOLICITORS
Court notices and directions at times dominate the news that we post, as
they have been issued and evolved at a rapid pace. If we have missed equivalent
developments of interest to solicitors or otherwise outside the courts
of which you think the profession should be more broadly aware, please do
draw them to our attention—we would be glad to distribute that information
YOUR INPUT MORE GENERALLY
Many of you have been able to use the Advocate and its social media
accounts to share your experiences during these unsettled times. Such
input remains welcome and is valuable to your colleagues as well. However,
our interest in what you have to say is of course not confined to matters
related to COVID-19.
Please do continue to send us your articles, letters to the editor, grumbles,
book reviews, short stories and ideas, whether related to the pandemic,
other important issues that we confront as a profession or as a society, or
happy distractions from all of the above!
All the best to all of you from all of us at the Advocate.
